Notes and Reflections on Books and Media

travels with herodotus
ryszard kapuściński describes confucius as an attitude of respect for the rigid order of authority. daoism, a more organic philosophy with greater acceptance of disorder. has nothing much to do with herodotus and i know you can't read the picture, but if i cut it, i'll have to post a copyrighted work, and you'll all have it taken down. reminds me a bit of my thinking of the humans, who will respect the order of their authorities, and my kind, who do not yet have such rigid structure.
