The Man-Eaters of Tsavo
John Henry PATTERSON
Working though The Man-eaters of Tsavo by Patterson. Basically workers in east Africa are trying to build a railroad. The local lions decide humans are good to eat, and proceed to eat dozens or perhaps hundreds. Patterson tries to protect his crew, killing lions when he can.
An interesting modern study, which I'll link to here to read later. If anyone wants to explain it to me, feel free:
OK, time for bed.
