And I suppose I see the state -- or any authority that maintains a kind of social order for the humans -- as a mechanism for serving the human stock. Not so much as Hitler saw it -- for long term survival of the genes -- but for human happiness. Not being human, my kind has to work around human systems sometimes, just as Hitler had to spend his younger years living outside an ideal Aryan state. Our philosophies on how to respond will probably be different.
